On Tuesday the 6th of September, the Grade 5/6s went to ACMI.
ACMI stands for the Australian Centre for the Moving Image and is located at Federation Square, Melbourne.
Before our visit we had to write and rehearse small plays including creating characters and their dialogue. We caught the train to Flinders Street Station and walked across to Federation Square where we met Tom and Anna who were our directors and tour guides for the day.
We got to sit in a real TV studio where we recorded our plays. We used their costumes to make our characters more interesting, and even pretended to be a part of the crew where we directed the scenes.
After lunch, we watched our movie and saw ourselves on the big screen!
It was a great day and we all had heaps of fun.
Thankyou to ACMI for having us and helping us record our film!
